This Crispy Blackened Paella Cauliflower is THE best any night of the week dinner or side dish. This cauliflower is spicy and crispy with perfect balance of flavor and texture. And most importantly so delicious and flavorful!

Crispy Blackened Paella Cauliflower

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

This delicious low-calorie recipes requires simple ingredients.

  • Cauliflower: Choose a large cauliflower with tightly packed florets.
  • Paella Seasoning: I have used Rumi Paella saffron spice blend in this recipe. You can also make at home by adding smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, oregano, pinch of saffron and thyme. Feel free to use other seasonings if you prefer.
  • Spices: I have add cumin powder, garlic powder, onion powder.
  • Olive oil: Use this for rubbing the cauliflower prior to covering with the seasoning. It helps the spices to stick to the cauliflower and brown up very nicely.

HOW DO YOU ROAST PAELLA CAULIFLOWER:

Preheat oven to 425° F.

On a baking sheet, combine the cauliflower, 1/3 cup olive oil and spices. Toss well to evenly coat. Transfer to the oven and roast for 15 minutes, or until tender. Toss the cauliflower and roast another 15 minutes, until charred.
