Creamy Rose Flavoured Nutty Malai Kufi is a delicious summer treat! Made with simple ingredients, this eggless Indian ice cream is flavored with rose essence and nuts!
What is kulfi ?
Kulfi is an Indian version of ice cream. It is usually made be cooking milk for a very long time, until it has reduced until very thick, then sweetened, flavored and frozen until firm.
It’s so creamy and so yummy, you would not want to miss out on this one!
If you’re planing to host a dinner party at home and don’t have the time to prepare a fancy dessert, then this should be your go-to recipe.This recipe is surely gonna impress your family and friends.The best thing about this delicacy is that you can add your desired twist to it by adding ingredients as per your taste.
Rose Flovored Nutty Malai Kulfi Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cup full fat milk
1/2 of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup of organic sugar
4 tbsp of coarse nut powder ( dry roasted cashews, almonds, pistachios and grind to a coarse powder)
1 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp Rose Syrup
Preparation:
1.Bring 1 3/4 cup of milk to boil and simmer for 15 mins.
2.Then add sugar, condensed milk and continue to stir for another 5 mins.
3.Then mix 1/4 cup milk with corn flour and make sure there is no lump
4.Add the corn flour slurry to the boiling milk and keep stirring on low heat
5.After 5 mins add nut powder and rose syrup and stir for 5 mins
6.Once it turns thick pouring consistency, switch off the stove and allow it to cool
7.Finally the pour it into a Kulfi mold and freeze overnight.
Granish with chopped nuts and enjoy!!
