Banana-Coconut Bliss Balls

Banana and coconut mixed with other wholesome ingredients to create this delicious healthy energy bite recipe.

Banana-Coconut Bliss Balls are a great healthy treat! It’s little bites of absolute deliciousness, and they are gluten-free, paleo, dairy-free, and vegan!
They are made with shredded coconut, walnuts, banana and dates.It’s sweetened by dates and no eggs, flour, butter, and milk are required. And of course, no baking! If you’re a fan of Raffaello Candy or other coconut treats then you will definitely love these little bites!

Okay I think it’s safe to say I’m a huge energy bite fan. I can’t help it, energy bites are everything I love about a recipe. First, they are beyond easy to make – throw all the ingredients into a bowl, mix it up, and you got energy balls!

Second, energy bites are versatile and can be made with basic pantry items you, most likely, have on hand. As long as you have rolled oats, honey or maple syrup, and some type of nut butter then the rest is up to you. Throw in any dried fruit, seed, nut, or chocolate chip.

Grab a couple of these bliss balls with a cup of tea for a blissful snack!

These bliss balls have always been my go-to dessert or dish that I bring to an event or gathering. They were always a hit and I’m so excited to share with you.

Banana Coconut Bliss Balls | Banana Coconut Energy Bites

Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
3/4 cup walnut
1 cup dates (pitted and soaked for 3 mins in warm water)
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 ripe banana

Instructions

  1. Dry Roast walnuts on medium heat for 3 mins.
  2. Soak the pitted dates in a warm water for 5 mins to make it softer
  3. Add coconut, walnut, salt, and cinnamon to food processor and process until coconut and walnut are finely ground, but not quite a flour.
  4. Add dates and banana and process approximately 10 seconds until dough is formed. Do not over process or you will create a paste. If dough is too wet, add another 1/4 cup shredded coconut.
  5. Form into balls, and roll balls in additional shredded coconut. Store in refrigerator to keep firm.
