Crispy Paneer Bites is a delicious, addictive and flavorful snack just perfect with your evening tea. A very rich and aromatic mixture of paneer and mashed potatoes with spices and fried until crispy and golden.
These Paneer Bites are perfect party time snacks or tea time snack or starter with crispy outside, cheesy and creamy with paneer and potatoes! An easy and quick and tasty appetizer recipe made with paneer and potatoes.
To make paneer balls you don’t need many ingredients. Just few kitchen staples like potatoes, paneer and few spice powders.
Making the recipe is also quite simple. Just mix in the filling ingredients, make balls and fry. So easy!
There are some days when you feel like having something crunchy, crispy to go with your coffee/tea. I get this craving during weekends especially but along with it, comes the guilt of having high calorie snacks. I made these low calorie paneer balls quite by chance, during one such weekend.
So easy to make, wonderful starter for parties and a great after school snack with hot chocolate.
HOW TO MAKE THESE PANEER BITES?
To make paneer balls you don’t need many ingredients. Just few kitchen staples like potatoes, paneer and few spice powders.In a mixing bowl, add grated paneer, mashed potatoes, salt, coriander leaves and corn flour.
- Make a tight dough and divide this mixture into 12 equal portions of balls.
- Heat some oil in a kadai or deep pan. Once the oil is hot turn the heat down to medium low and put one ball in hot oil if it is turning out well add rest of the paneer balls and cook them until golden brown and crispy.
- Enjoy these crispy balls with ketchup of green chutney.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Serve these crispy paneer bites with some tomato ketchup or green chutney or with your favorite dipping sauces along with a hot cup of coffee or tea!

Crispy Paneer Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup paneer crumbled or grated
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 green chilli finely chopped
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add grated paneer, mashed potatoes, salt, coriander leaves and corn flour.
- Make a tight dough and divide this mixture into 12 equal portions of balls.

Notes
- Grease the palm with oil if its sticky to make balls
- You can add cumin powder, red chilli powder if desired.
- You can replace paneer with tofu or just omit it for vegan option.
- The recipe can be doubled
