Mediterranean Nachos
Who says snacking and eating healthy can’t go hand in hand? Our Mediterranean Nachos are a delicious way to eat more veggies! These Mediterranean Nachos with Pita Chips and Hummus are topped with crumbly feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, Kalamata olives and a tangy tzatziki sauce. They make a perfect party appetizer!

- 6 oz baked pita chips
- 1/2 cup Cedar's Mediterranean Hummus
- 1/2 cup Cedar's Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 medium cucumber diced
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 red onion diced
- 1/4 cup olives Kalamata or your favorite type
- 1/4 cup feta cheese
- 1/4 cup chickpeas boiled
- fresh parsley chopped
Place pita chips on the bottom of plate/bowl
Top with hummus, tzatziki, chopped cucumber, tomatoes, chickpeas, red onion, olives and feta
Garnish with parsley and enjoy! Serve immediately.
- Feta cheese is available plain or flavored. You could use cheese with garlic, basil, sun-dried tomato or herbs.
- Roast the chickpeas with seasoning and add it to the nachos for extra crunch.
- You can use homemade hummus in this recipe.
- You can also add your favorite toppings, veggies, proteins.
