These homemade fish finger recipe involves boneless fish pieces that are seasoned with tongue tingling spices, coated in bread crumbs and then deep fried. The crispy crust and tender, flaky fish on the inside gives a unique delectable flavor.

FISH FINGERS / FISH STICKS / FISH NUGGETS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
2 Tilapia fillets
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 Egg
1 tbsp All Purpose Flour/ Maida
Salt
For Coating:
Bread crumbs
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder(optional)
1/2 tsp Pepper powder
Salt
Oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut the Fish fillets into small finger size pieces ( Boneless fish fillets will work good for this recipe). And wash with salt and Turmeric powder for removing the fish smell.
- For Marination, In a bowl mix the Turmeric powder,chilli powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,Ginger-garlic paste,lemon juice, egg, all purpose flour and salt.
- Marinate the fish sticks in the masala for 15 mins.
- For Coating, Mix the bread crumb,salt,pepper powder,garlic powder and italian seasoning in a plate.
- Coat the fish pieces with seasoned bread crumbs and gently press it with your hands to hold the bread crumbs well.
- Fry the coated fish pieces in oil on a medium heat until golden brown on all sides.
- Enjoy this Fish Sticks/Fingers with a salad or by dipping in your favourite sauce.
