Mawa Nuts Ladoo is an easy, quick and healthy Indian sweet to prepare on festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Janamashtmi or Holi. This ladoo is prepared with just few ingredients like nuts powder, mawa or khoya, sugar and ghee. These laddos are very easy to whip up at home.
It is made of healthy ingredients so you can enjoy without a gulit. Just make a batch and store it in your storage containers, so you can have when you feel like.
HOW TO MAKE THIS MAWA NUTS LADOO?
Here is how to make:
- Boil milk and a tbsp of ghee in a sauce pan, then add the hot milk mixture into milk powder and mix well. Mawa is ready.
- Heat a nonstick pan in a low heat and add the mawa, almond powder, cashew powder and pistachio powder with tbsp of ghee.
- Keep mixing the nuts powder and mawa as it will be burnt quickly. Once its mixed well add the powdered sugar. Stir until its well combined for 2 minutes.
- Transfer the mawa mixture to a plate and let it cools for 5 minutes or until its warm to handle. Don’t let the mixture completely cool down.
- Apply some ghee on your palms and start rolling into ladoos. I got around 10 ladoos.
HOW TO STORE THESE LADOO?
Store them in a airtight container for 7-8 days in refrigerator.

- 1/4 cup pistachio powder
- 1/4 cup cashew powder
- 1/2 cup almond powder

Notes
- You can used store bought mawa also in this recipe.
- Adjust the sweetness as per your taste. I have added around 6 tbsp in this recipe
- You can flavor the ladoos with cardamom or saffron or rose water if desired.
- I have shaped them in round balls but you can use any mould to shape it.
- Shape them quickly until the mixture is warm
- If the mixture is dry, you can add a tsp of ghee.
